Call for Proposals in Research Demo Session (RDS)

ISVLSI 2020: IEEE Computer Society Annual Symposium on VLSI invites authors to submit research demonstration proposals. In the Research Demo Session (RDS), authors can present live demonstrations and hardware prototypes of their research papers and projects. The research demo submission can be between 1-page (extended abstract) to a maximum of 2-pages (short paper) and must contain the following information:

  1. Title, Authors and Affiliations
  2. Abstract
  3. Introduction and Motivation
  4. Proposed Design including experiment results
  5. Conclusions/References

The submission needs to be done using the online system. The submissions will be reviewed. The accepted ones will be published in proceedings in a separate track. The idea is the following: it is a paper, but form of presentation is not oral, not poster, but demo. Best research demo award will be presented during the conference banquet. Award will be based on the quality of the research, demo and the presentation.

The research demo submission will get maximum 2 pages in proceedings. If accepted, the paper will appear in the proceedings under the RDS track.
